| Enjoying some cloud cover on the trail Wednesday evening. |
With the exception of yesterday, we have been having really
nice weather this week, especially in the evening when the clouds have been
rolling in. Sunny days and cool cloudy evenings are perfect in my book. We can
really use the moisture too, so I welcome any that might come our way. Wednesday
nights run, in particular, was really enjoyable. Ten miles in the mountains as
the sun goes down, with nobody on the trails but the dogs and myself. Running ten
minute miles up hill for five miles, then cruising at 6.40 miles on the way
back down. I am not sure who enjoyed it more, myself or the dogs. My Achilles has started to bother me a bit
though, and I think it is from the long uphill run last weekend. I have been
icing it and it is feeling better than it did yesterday, but I think that I am
going to have to run on flat ground this weekend as I don’t want to re aggravate
it. We don’t have very many flat trails on the western side of town, but there
are a few, and they are really good.
I am looking forward to sneaking out and catching a trout
this weekend too. Hopefully I will have some new pictures on Monday.
